A Message to Ship Street Patients from
Dr Alistair Mackenzie
I have been overwhelmed and moved by your very kind words of support, the cards and the presents that I have received on my retirement.
I am excited about the next stage in my life but I shall indeed miss the wonderful practice I have worked in for 32 years. It has been a privileged and rewarding job and I leave with many fond memories of you all.
Thank you for letting me be part of your lives, I will always be grateful.
I have been enormously lucky to have worked with great staff and doctors (both past and present). I was given a fantastic send off at the Ashdown Park Hotel – an evening I will always remember.
Healthcare will always continue to change and face future challenges but I am confident that the current dedicated team at Ship Street Surgery will go from strength to strength and continue to provide excellent practitioner care.
Finally, thank you all again and I wish you and your families all the very best for the future.
